ACGHK ( Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong 香港動漫電玩節 ), previously known as Hong Kong Comics Festival ( 香港漫畫節 ) is a material-entertainment and book fair held annually around August at the HKCEC (Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre). It exhibits and sells comic- related / animation-related / game-related products, where the category of products have expanded over the years.

In 2011, MIMO partnered up with Hong Kong singer-songwriter G.E.M who is well loved by teens in Asia and Canada for an exclusive mimo x G.E.M figure. The figure is inspired by G.E.M Comics, a comic book that uses her as a main character with a bunny whom is her beloved pet. The figure features G.E.M with a guitar, one of her signature instruments while performing along with her pet bunny. With the much anticipated mimo x G.E.M figure, it was proudly unveiled at the ACGHK the same year which was well adored by MIMO and G.E.M fans.

In addition, MIMO also showcased other new mimo collections including 7-mimo, Halloween, Christmas and Chinese restaurant. For the 7-mimo and Chinese restaurant collections, they are also paired with our Shokugan series as a matching set. Besides mimo collections and new Shokugan series, MIMO lovers also have the chance to get their hands on our newest USB jewelry, stylish mini fare card holders and envionmentally friendly re-usable bags.

 

G.E.M x mimo Special Edition Figure

Did you know Hong Kong singer-songwriter G.E.M is a protagonist character in a comic book? The G.E.M x mimo special edition figure is inspired by a comic book G.E.M Comics, written by a recent famous Hong Kong cartoonist Xueqing. The comic book features G.E.M as a main character and her pet bunny in different adventures.

The mimo Shokugan series have been loved by the young people of Hong Kong where products include 7-mimo, street snacks, cafes etc...
